What exactly is an unnboxed mystery box?
unnboxed mystery boxes are curated surprise boxes filled with a mix of undelivered mail, overstock items, and other suprises. Every box is different, and some boxes include our Blue Bag Bonus—our premium chase item sealed in a signature blue bag.
What is the Blue Bag Bonus? 🔵
The Blue Bag Bonus is the premium item inside our higher end boxes. We reserve the blue bag for higher-value surprises that typically retail for around $40 or more online at the time we pack your order.
- unnboxed Classic and unnboxed Vault each include 1 Blue Bag Bonus
This is the item most customers are excited to find—it’s our version of a “chase.”
Are the items new?
Items in unnboxed boxes come from a few different sources:
- Premium Mail Mix – sealed packages that never reached their original destination. Some are undelivered, some are returns, all are a surprise!
- Premium Open Box – items that are new, but have been opened and examined to ensure their working capacity.
- Overstock items – brand-new surplus or liquidation inventory.
Some outer packaging may show labels, tape, or wear from its original journey, but items are inspected before being included.
How many items will I receive?
Each box contains multiple items, but the exact count can vary depending on item sizes.
- unnboxed Gift is designed as a smaller, more affordable box. Thus the box size, and how many items you receive are minimal.
- unnboxed Classic is a larger, more loaded box with the Blue Bag Bonus and more total items.
- unnboxed Vault is our largest box, and thus loaded as full as possible, including our Blue Bag Bonus.
We focus on creating a fun, full unboxing experience rather than locking every box to a fixed item count. For box sizes, visit our Boxes page.
Will I get the exact items shown in the photos?
No. Images on our site show example items only.
Every unnboxed box is unique, and actual contents are random based on the inventory available at the time your order is packed.
Will I receive duplicate items?
We do our best to avoid duplicates within a single box. Because our inventory changes constantly, you may see similar types of products across different orders, but we don’t intentionally pack the same item twice in one box.
Do you guarantee a total retail value?
We don’t advertise a guaranteed total dollar value, since retail prices and inventory change over time. Instead, we focus on:
- Including guaranteed Blue Bag Bonus items
- Making sure each box feels fair, fun, and exciting for the price
- Delivering a surprise experience worth opening
Where do you ship?
We currently offer free shipping to the continental United States.
At this time, we do not ship internationally or outside the lower 48 states.
What is your return policy?
Because unnboxed boxes are mystery products, we generally do not accept returns based on personal preference. If something arrives severely damaged or there’s an issue with your order, contact us and we’ll work to make it right.
